My husband isn't a fan of baseball, but he sure likes the hats.

The first glimpse my kids got of their dad, he was wearing a baseball hat.

So it's no surprise that they associate a baseball cap with dad.

After washing Gideon off after a meal I found a baseball cap that someone had left on the bathroom shelf. I put it on Giddy while he was looking in the mirror. He said, "Hi, Dad." Yup, you must be dad if you are wearing a baseball cap.

Finally Did it

So my palm battery has been dying. I looked into having someone put a new one in for me... about $50... no thanks. It's supposed to be a non serviceable unit, but I am out of my warranty range by years and palm doesn't support this unit anymore. At this point it's dead to me unless I can fix it. So thanks to a you-tuber who showed me how to get it open, and had a battery to spare I got out my soldering iron and put the new one in. It's a week in there now and so far so good! I haven't charged it again yet and it is used A LOT. Here's how I did it.

Every one who has ever sung this song can understand his enthusiasm. We planned on singing a
different song for Family Home Evening this week, but Zurich kept interrupting so we gave in.
Please excuse our fabulous, angelic choir voices... it's hard to laugh and sing at the same time.


Oh and doesn't he look like such a big boy now? It's killing me. The hair cut was a good idea. He's
so darn handsome. Today Gary and Olea went skiing. Zurich and I used wisdom and stayed
home. But when Zurich saw them heading out the door he was totally distraught. He was
whimpering and brought his shoes to Gary. So after they left I helped him get shoes and socks on
and we played in the park for a while. Oh he loves that. He's all brave with the slide now. He
walks as far down the slide as he can till he falls and slides the rest of the way. This means
sometimes he comes down head first sometimes on his back etc. and loves every minute of it. I
encourage him to sit down and go normally but sometimes he just likes to show off.

Olea with her ChainSaw (a piece of wood) while camping, this was not her original piece of wood which hand handles and such like a chainsaw, she was pretty upset when she realized it had been put in the fire. I thought this was so cute though, too bad I didn't get video of the best chain saw log.
